About Us
We’re Dara and Katie—two millennial moms who met through a shared love of preloved kids’ fashion. Dara ran a resale business, and Katie was not only her top customer, but also inspired to start her own version of the same business model. Instead of seeing each other as competitors, we became fast friends—sharing ideas, asking questions, and building our separate shops side by side.
We created MDC to help moms like us reclaim their time, simplify their days, and make space for the life they actually want—with digital tools, supportive content, and a realistic but optimistic approach to modern motherhood.

Dara is the early-ish bird of Modern Dreamers Club, the one who loves a quiet morning coffee before the house wakes up. A lifelong list-maker with a background in fashion design & entrepreneurship, she’s always been drawn to finding beauty in both style and structure.
As a mom to two spirited girls (Sena & Lane), Dara has learned how to balance her Type-A tendencies with the real-life mess of motherhood.
These days, Dara is focused on feeling strong in her body, creating calm in her home, and carving out space, physically and mentally, for the things that matter most.
Katie is the night owl of Modern Dreamers Club, the one who somehow gets her best ideas at 2 a.m. while the rest of the house is asleep. As a twin mom plus one (Ali, Izzy, and Theo keep her world spinning), she knows chaos intimately, and she also knows how to find humour in it.
She’s the Type-C dreamer balancing ADHD energy with a whole lot of creativity, a love of reading, and a Swiftie soundtrack always playing in the background.
Her heart behind MDC is to remind moms that life doesn’t have to be perfectly organized to be beautiful, it just has to be yours.
